After our Rotary holiday party and the rush of the holidays themselves, Rich and I pretty much crashed for a while to rest up after all the activity of getting us settled in the house. But it wasn’t long before we were thinking “party” again! Our friend, Penny, helped us organize two parties in one, Saturday, February 6 through Sunday, February 7 (Superbowl Sunday). Here’s how the invitation read:
Come warm up the house and stay for the Superbowl!
This is really two parties in one. Come Saturday evening for a night of sexy fun and frolic in the luscious space of Lovermore. And/or come on Sunday for the Superbowl in lingerie!
Lovermore is the name for the new home of Kathy Heilmann and Rich Bennett, a house they have dedicated to spreading the energy of Love to all mankind. They envision hosting parties and events for like-minded folks in the Bay Area.
For guests coming on Saturday, there will be music, food, wine, hot tub, and plenty of space for play and overnight sleeping. We’ll sleep in Sunday morning and cook brunch, then rev up for watching the Superbowl in lingerie! Nosh on the game-time goodies. Critique the commercials. Cheer on your favorite contender. Enjoy the sights both on the TV and all around you!
You are welcome to come just on Saturday night or just for the Superbowl on Sunday if you cannot stay for the whole time.
Bring a towel (for hot tub), lingerie, snacks and favorite beverage for yourself and to share but mostly bring YOURSELF! Plenty of refrigerator/freezer space is available to keep food fresh.
There will be SERIOUS game watching (65 inch Ultra-HD TV) as well as opportunities for other fun.
Enjoy the hot tub for half-time festivities. Bring a towel and a recently cleaned body.
Donations of $10 for hot tub and space maintenance are appreciated. Also accepting donations of cuddle fluff (blankets, sheets, quilts, pillows).
RSVP soon so we know how many will be in the stands. In your comments, please indicate if you are coming Saturday, Sunday, or for the full time. Feel free to bring like-minded guests but please let us know who is coming.
****Card and Board Games will be available if non-sports entertainment is desired****
We had about 30 people, most of whom stayed the whole time. We converted our sofa into a mosh pit, which we covered with vinyl (to protect the sofa) and then blankets on top of that. Plus we had futons on the floor of our bedroom, in the family room, upstairs in the office, and more. The futons got a lot of use Saturday night well before the sleeping started. We also had two massage tables in use, one for massage and one for Rich’s kind of fun with power tools (all very fun for the ladies in question). The hot tub got so much use that we had to refill it several times.
Sunday morning we cooked brunch and people hung out indoors and out (we had unseasonably warm weather for February, so many people chose to sun themselves nude on the deck). Before the Superbowl started we changed into our sexiest lingerie and watched… mostly the commercials and halftime show.
Everyone had a great time! As I don’t have permission to post photos of people’s faces, here is a picture of all the shoes!
And lots and lots of food, too!
We are already getting people asking us when the next party is going to be!
