It’s been a crazy few weeks here at Lovermore. In retrospect, trying to finish a remodel, host Thanksgiving, move, decorate for Christmas, and host a holiday party all within two weeks was… overly agressive scheduling. But the work is pretty much done, although there are a few open odds and ends here and there, many of which will not be taken care of until after the first of the year. We even managed to get holiday lights on the outside of the house. The 1579 Fontonett Place sign came in time, but we ran out of time to get it up. So that will come later.
We were working up until the very last minute, but had a very successful Rotary holiday party on the 12th. Here are just a few pictures from the festivities, showing the completed fireplace and kitchen.
The next day we had planned to go to an event with our sacred connections community, but we were so exhausted that we had to spend the whole day in bed to recover from weeks of go-go-go. We finally “woke up” at 5pm!
